Inspiring things

I´ve had a lot to do lately, therefore I didn´t manage to post anything. Or didn´t find interesting enough topics to post. Or was just lazy.
Anyways, thought I´d post some pictures of things that inspire me- cabinets of curiosities, circuses, things in a jar, darker ephemera and of course, my old love anatomy.

/A cabinet of curiosities: an encyclopedic collection of objects whose categorical boundaries were yet to be discovered. In short- weird objects that were unknown at the time of their discovery. Also zoological, botanical, ethnographical, archaelogical etc things, that were often faked too. Also called: Wunderkammer, Kunstkammer. The Kunstkammer portrayed the world symbolically, revealing its offerings in a theatrical way./

I don´t know why I have this affection towards darker things. Don´t get me wrong, I also love candy-colored lollipoplands and girly imagery, but these dark and complex pieces of art intrigue me more. There is more to them than just pretty girls or clothes or colors (now that I think of it, time to dig into those kinds of pictures!).
